Urban Block

A shopping passage, four residential towers and an office building are combined to form this multi-functional block in Taizhou. 
The distinguished masterplan corresponds to the triangular shape of the plot and reflects the site’s location in the city centre. A walkthrough and a small plaza on the inside open the block to the public. 
Each typology is designed in a distinct style, yet the façades are harmoniously tied together by a balanced design. Glass, and dark metal panels contrast with the white cladding of the floor slabs and give the buildings a horizontal emphasis.
